Who is our Site supervisior??

As per Metricon's Policy, SS calls to customer when site starts. Till date we have not received any call prior to site start. Looks like I need to esclate again....

Construction Loan approval

Date: 3/12/10

Thanks to our customer representative at Commonwealth bank, who has made huge effort in finalizing our home loan. Normally it takes minimum 2 weeks for valuation, approval and finalizing all documents.

But on the other side metricon was determined to charge us as we have gone above the contract expiry date, which was extended three times. They have delayed in releasing construction certificate so we could not produce letter before 30th Nov. Also when I asked manager about construction commencement, she was not sure whether they are going to start before christmas.

So for 3 days delay I was not ready to pay. So I called Metricon Melbourne office, and asked them to transfer my call to operation manager.

And thanks to her, everything has finalized. All final construction drawings prepared in only one day (I got an estimate of one week from manager).

Hopefully they should be starting construction soon....

Construction Certificate

Date: 1/12/10

It took more than 10 days to get construction certificate after council approval. Initial estimate from Metricon was 3 to 10 days.

It feels they have lots of projects going around, and they are not able to concentrate on each of them causing delay in process.

Contract Extention

Date: 11/11/10

As we had contract expiry date on 30th October, I have to convinced our customer representative manager that we will try our best to get approval before end of the month. So We got one month more extention, hopefully we should get approval and all other remaining things finalized before month end.

If we are not able to provide construction commencement letter before 30th Nov, then we will need to pay 1786$ per month until we provide them letter.
